if "ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all have a merry christmas" gate city won and you cant say they wouldnt have if castlewood would have had the other player. Game plans differ according to personell, Castlewood is a good team but Gate City was the better team tonight.

do you really have no clue? Castlewood isnt the greatest team ever. Gate City is solid inside and outside, I think they proved that tonight. look at gate citys record, look at the teams they beat and the few teams they lost to. a heckuva lot tougher schedule than Clintwood.

i assume you mean castlewood right instead of clintwood? if so, i'm not so sure about gate city's schedule not being a little easier. fact of the matter is, gate city is tops in region d in both boys and girls.

While I hate Fisher ws hurt you never know what would have happened if he played. Players who stepped up in his abscence may not have if he played, both teams would have approached the game different also. Granted he is a good player, but a couple of the teams they played, played them CLOSER when CW had him on the floor than without. TS and RC for instance. But here's to a great agme and to fine ballteams. And also hoping for a very speedy recovery for Fisher.

Last time I checked basketball was a team sport. You have to have 5 on the court. In all sports if a player goes down you have to have another to relace him. All I have heard out of the CD as far as B-Ball playoffs go for the past few years is excuses. This to me is just another one of those. So a player was hurt...so what. You still have to play. And you can whine all ya want about well if we had this or if we had that..but the fact is ya didn't. And ya lost. GC won, they deserve it, and they are the champs. Did GC and CW play this year when CW had Fisher??...NO. So how can folks sit and say CW with Fisher would beat GC??...They can't. As weak as all you CD folks say the LPD is, ya shoulda won anyways it sounds like. LOL. Well, Burton and GC both showed ya differently. Congrats to GC and to all y'all Cumberland whiners....GET OVER IT!!!!
